We are pleased to welcome Rita Raymundo Carlota to the Ricardo Henriques Lab. Rita joins us as a PhD Student, funded by the La Caixa Health Research grant.
Rita will be working on the VirusAwareScopes project, which develops machine learning-driven adaptive microscopy for long-term viral infection studies. The project focuses on creating intelligent microscopy systems that can autonomously track and analyze viral infections in live cells over extended periods.
As part of this interdisciplinary project, Rita will develop biological systems and computational tools that combine advanced imaging with artificial intelligence to better understand host-pathogen interactions and viral infection dynamics.
Welcome, Rita!
