The project aims to investigate the associations between metabolism and the cytoskeleton during the development of Drosophila oocytes, with the hypothesis that localized metabolic activity is necessary to modulate cytoskeleton functions and downstream cellular events. The research will employ a multidisciplinary approach, combining expertise in cellular metabolism, metabolomics analysis, genetic manipulation, advanced microscopy techniques, and machine learning.
