ITQB School Visit: Introducing High-Resolution Microscopy to Secondary School Students
On January 29, 2025, ITQB hosted students from Escola Secundária de Loulé for a visit to our research facilities, to introduce secondary school students to microscopy and to biological research.
Postdoctoral researchers Daria Aristova and Mario Del Rosario talked through super-resolution microscopy and expansion microscopy, and showed how the methods are used day to day.
We run these visits to stay connected with local schools, and to give students a clear view of what research work actually looks like.
