Event Overview

The ITQB Microscopy Symposium 2026 brings together researchers, students, and imaging specialists for a two-day program combining cutting-edge lectures with hands-on training. The event showcases ITQB NOVA's state-of-the-art imaging facilities while providing learning opportunities for researchers at all career levels.

Day 1 features presentations from international and local speakers covering the latest advances in optical and electron microscopy, with a particular focus on AI applications in biological imaging.

Day 2 offers practical workshops with advanced microscopy systems and computational analysis tools incorporating machine learning, giving participants hands-on experience with the latest imaging technologies.
